The purpose of this page is to alert consumers of worthless tokens that deceptive sellers often pawn off as being genuine, rare, gold or valuable. I would estimate that 50-60% of the items listed under the Fractional Gold category on eBay fall into this category. 50% of those pictured do NOT have any gold what-so-ever in them. Most are NOT even gold plated. They are either solid brass or non-gold plated pot metal. All pictured are worthless.

If you have recently purchased one of these, demand your money back from the seller immediately. If it is too late for a refund, then you will have to chalk it up as one of life's' experiences. You failed to follow one of the golden rules - investigate BEFORE you invest. This is one of the main reasons we offer our FREE professional advice. Some dealers charge for professional advice. WARNING! New replica 1909 Alaska tokens have recently been appearing on eBay. Do NOT confuse these with the real deal. Genuine Alaska gold coins MUST have the word PINCH or DWT on the reverse. The ones pictured here do not. They also do not contain any gold and are practically worthless. Please be aware of what you are bidding on. We would highly recommend staying away from purchasing these replicas in addition to the eBay sellers that are trying to pawn these off as genuine or containing gold.
